New Fully Automatic Vertical Veneers Dryer Put Into Operation
Fully Automatic High-Capacity Vertical Veneer Dryer Launched

Shine Machinery's new generation of fully automatic high-capacity vertical veneer dryers has officially been launched to the market. The equipment achieves full automation from feeding, drying, alignment, and board collection to automatic stacking, boasting stable operation and a low failure rate. It also supports comprehensive customization of the entire machine, supporting systems, and heat source solutions, providing a one-stop solution for all drying challenges faced by domestic and overseas timber processing plants. It is suitable for processing various veneer materials such as poplar, eucalyptus, pine, and rubberwood.
I. Fully Unmanned Operation, Extreme Labor Savings, Significantly Reduced Labor Costs
The entire equipment is equipped with an integrated automatic board feeding, board collection, and servo mechanical stacking system, integrating board alignment and stacking processes, completely eliminating the heavy labor of manual handling and sorting of veneers. The entire drying production line requires only 2-3 workers for daily inspections; minimizing labor costs and avoiding the operational pressure caused by recruitment difficulties and rising labor wages.
The equipment features a human-machine separation design, eliminating the need for operators to enter high-risk areas such as palletizing and sheet material transfer. This completely eliminates the risk of workplace injuries from sheet collisions and handling, significantly upgrading workshop safety and ensuring worry-free night shift production.
II. 24 Hours Continuous Production, High Output Without Jams, Uninterrupted Capacity During Peak Seasons
Abandoning the traditional drying equipment model that requires machine shutdown for loading and unloading, the equipment seamlessly integrates alignment, sheet collection, and palletizing, enabling truly year-round, uninterrupted operation. It can stably process 80,000-100,000 sheets of standard sheet material per day, maintaining stable operating speed even during peak order periods.
Unlike conventional vertical drying structures on the market, this machine incorporates a high-density, high-efficiency radiator array. The heat distribution within the chamber is fine and uniform, and the material conveying channel is smooth and unobstructed, completely resolving the common problem of sheet blockage and material clogging in production lines. The output speed is consistently maintained at 4-6 m³/h, ensuring smooth sheet loading and unobstructed movement, and maximizing production capacity throughout the day.
III. Flexible Adaptability to All Veneer Thicknesses, Zero Changeover Time, AI-Powered Intelligent Quality Control
The equipment flexibly adapts to veneer processing needs across the entire thickness range of 0.8–8mm. Thin veneers and thick core boards require no tooling changes; production can begin immediately upon switching board specifications, significantly reducing changeover time. It also accommodates various types of plywood, allowing for on-demand production scheduling.
The machine is equipped with a bus-level AI intelligent control system, which can accurately and in real-time count veneer quantities and operating parameters. Customers can opt for an AI vision sorting module, which automatically distinguishes between superior and substandard boards after drying and stores them separately, controlling board quality from the drying stage and effectively reducing defective output in subsequent gluing and hot-pressing processes.
Utilizing a constant low-temperature slow-drying process of 80–100℃, the boards are gently heated throughout the process, avoiding direct exposure to heat and rapid moisture loss. The dried veneer surface is smooth and flat, as if ironed, without warping, cracking, or wavy deformation. Moisture content is uniform and controllable, allowing direct connection to the lamination process. Rework rates are close to zero, significantly improving the appearance and bonding strength of the finished plywood.
IV. Servo-driven Precise Stacking Prevents Veneers Damage; Stacking Specifications Can Be Freely Set, Making Downstream Integration More Convenient.
The stacking process employs a fully servo-driven stacking structure. Mechanical grippers gently pick up and stack the boards, ensuring no bumps or scratches on the board surface and a tight, non-collapsed stack. This directly eliminates the manual stacking process of traditional production lines, further reducing labor costs.
The stacking mode is highly flexible, allowing for both horizontal and vertical stacking. The number of sheets per stack can be freely customized. Neat stacks can be directly connected to bagging, packaging, and strapping equipment, resulting in standard finished product stacks upon leaving the factory. Warehousing, loading, and transportation are more efficient and worry-free.
V. Low Energy Consumption and Quiet Operation, Significantly Reduced Electricity Costs, Unrestricted Heat Source Compatibility
The equipment has undergone comprehensive energy-saving optimization and upgrades. The entire production line consumes only about 80 kWh per hour, a substantial reduction in energy consumption compared to traditional drying equipment with the same capacity. Operating noise is also lower, creating a more comfortable workshop environment, resulting in significant savings on electricity costs over time.
There are no restrictions on heat source options. Steam, thermal oil, and hot air furnaces are all compatible. Existing factory heat source facilities can be directly utilized. If a change in heating method is needed later, no modifications to the drying unit are required, making retrofitting convenient and flexible, adaptable to different fuel conditions and environmental policy requirements both domestically and internationally. Simultaneously, a biomass combustion system can be integrated, utilizing bark, waste veneer, and scraps from the factory area as fuel, recycling waste materials and further reducing operating costs.
VI. Precision-engineered For Durability, Stable Operation, Low Failure Rate, And Worry-free Maintenance
The machine body is constructed from thickened national standard steel through a single welded process. The drying chamber features a sealed, insulated structure to lock in heat and reduce heat loss. The tilting conveyor assembly is equipped with high-temperature resistant and wear-resistant bearings, ensuring it is not easily deformed or worn even after long-term repetitive tilting. The entire machine is equipped with multiple safety protections against overheating and overload, and automatic shutdown warnings in abnormal situations to prevent equipment damage and safety accidents.
The modular machine layout and rationally arranged maintenance ports make daily cleaning of accumulated dust and parts maintenance simple and convenient. It boasts an extremely low failure rate during continuous high-load production, significantly reducing production capacity losses caused by downtime and maintenance, ensuring the steady progress of factory production.
VII. Fully Customizable Design to Fit Each Factory's Unique Production Scenario
We reject one-size-fits-all standardized models. We can tailor a complete drying production line to meet the specific needs of your factory's dimensions, workshop layout, target daily production capacity, standard single-board sizes, and existing heat source conditions:
